Driving Directions
From Richmond International Airport
Exit airport on Airport Drive and follow signs to I-64 West. Remain on I-64 West to Exit 183A (Glenside Drive South). Proceed on Glenside Drive to second traffic light. Turn right on Forest Avenue. Proceed on Forest Avenue to second traffic light. Henrico Doctors' Hospital will be on your left, at the corner of Forest Avenue and Skipwith Road.
From the East (Williamsburg)
Take I-64 West to Exit 183A (Glenside Drive South). Proceed on Glenside Drive to second traffic light. Turn right on Forest Avenue. Proceed on Forest Avenue to second traffic light. Henrico Doctors' Hospital will be on your left, at the corner of Forest Avenue and Skipwith Road.
From the West (Powhatan)
Take Route 60 East, which will also be identified as Midlothian Turnpike when you approach Richmond. Proceed on Midlothian Turnpike to Powhite Parkway North (toll). Continue on Powhite Parkway to I-64 West. Follow I-64 West to Exit 183A (Glenside Drive South). Proceed on Glenside Drive to second traffic light. Turn right on Forest Avenue. Proceed on Forest Avenue to second traffic light. Henrico Doctors' Hospital will be on your left, at the corner of Forest Avenue and Skipwith Road.
From the North (Fredericksburg)
Take I-95 South to I-64 West (Exit 79). Proceed on I-64 West to Exit 183A (Glenside Drive South). Proceed on Glenside Drive to second traffic light. Turn right on Forest Avenue. Proceed on Forest Avenue to second traffic light. Henrico Doctors' Hospital will be on your left, at the corner of Forest Avenue and Skipwith Road.
From the South (Petersburg)
Take I-95 North to I-64 West. Remain on I-64 West to Exit 183A (Glenside Drive South). Proceed on Glenside Drive to second traffic light. Turn right on Forest Avenue. Proceed on Forest Avenue to second traffic light. Henrico Doctors' Hospital will be on your left, at the corner of Forest Avenue and Skipwith Road.
From the Northwest (Charlottesville)
Take I-64 East to Glenside Drive Exit. Turn right on Glenside Drive and continue to first traffic light. Turn right on Forest Avenue. Proceed on Forest Avenue to second traffic light. Henrico Doctors' Hospital will be on your left, at the corner of Forest Avenue and Skipwith Road.
From the Southwest (Farmville)
Take Route 360 East, which will also be identified as Hull Street Road when you approach Richmond. Proceed on Route 360 East to Route 288 North. Follow the signs to Route 76 North (toll). This is also called Powhite Parkway North. Continue on Powhite Parkway (tolls) to I-64 West. Follow I-64 West to Exit 183A (Glenside Drive South). Proceed on Glenside Drive to second traffic light. Turn right on Forest Avenue. Proceed on Forest Avenue to second traffic light. Henrico Doctors' Hospital will be on your left, at the corner of Forest Avenue and Skipwith Road.
From Parham Doctors' Hospital
Leaving the Parham Doctors' Hospital, take a right onto Parham Road. Proceed approximately 3/4 mile, through the stoplight at Broad Street/US250, to the stoplight at Skipwith Road. Turn left onto Skipwith Road. Follow Skipwith Road approximately two miles, through the stoplight at Hungary Springs Road, to the stoplight at Forest Avenue. Henrico Doctors' Hospital will be on your right, at the corner of Forest Avenue and Skipwith Road.
From the corner of Forest Avenue and Skipwith Road
To Emergency Entrance (temporarily changed due to construction)
Proceed through the stoplight on Forest Avenue, then take a left turn at the next stoplight (Discovery Drive. Follow the directional signs to the Emergency Room. Once patient has been dropped off for Emergency care, you may either use our Valet Parking (no charge), or self-park in the Red Parking Deck.
To Valet Parking (no charge)
Proceed through the stoplight on Forest Avenue, then take your first left turn into the hospital. As you face the Women’s Pavilion, take a right, and you will see the Red Parking Deck in front of you. At the “T”, take a left. Valet parking will be ahead on your left, just in front of the entrance to Outpatient Registration.
To Main Entrance
Turn left onto Skipwith Road, then take the first right turn into the hospital. To drop off passengers, you may pull under the overhang. To park, turn left before the overhang, and pull onto the top level of the Blue Parking Deck.
To Blue Parking Deck, including Lower Levels (temporarily opened due to construction)
Turn left onto Skipwith Road, then take the first right turn into the hospital. Turn left before the overhang at the Main Entrance, and pull onto the top level of the Blue Parking Deck. Turn right, then left, and follow the lane to the ramp down to the underground levels. The first underground level you reach is Lower Level 1, the second level you reach is Lower Level 2. During construction, both lower levels are available to our Patients and Visitors.
To Red Parking Deck
Proceed through the stoplight on Forest Avenue, then take your first left turn into the hospital. As you face the Women’s Pavilion, take a right, and you will see the Red Parking Deck in front of you. At the “T”, take a left, then a right, then you may enter the Red Parking Deck.
To Additional Parking (temporarily closed due to construction)
During the construction, the Additional Parking that was previously available to the south of the Professional Office Building has been closed. Please use the Red Parking Deck or the Blue Parking Deck (including both lower levels).
Parking
Valet parking is available at no charge outside the Outpatient Registration entrance, across from the Professional Office Building.
Patients and visitors may park at no charge in the three-level parking garage next to the Professional Office Building (the Red Deck), or in the underground decks by the Main Entrance (the Blue Deck). Remember to lock your vehicle before entering the hospital.
